So where are we today… posted: 16 07 09
It has been a while and we have not been adding new sites at our usual rate so we thought an insight into what we have been doing might be of interest, or not but anyway…
Firstly we have nearly a dozen sites awaiting completion, these range from basic independent sites through to directories and we are now actively working on establishing an international presence with sites for girls in the EU. Hopefully these will start to come on line during the course of next week, plus we are also working on completing our 69D Directory as and when time permits.
We have also been busy on a complete review of our administration and accounting systems, integrating new accounting software, improved maintenance and changes handling and a general streamlining of the way we manage the day to day work involved in running 69Design Ltd and 69Hosting Ltd. (which is our hosting and maintenance business) to ensure we stay ahead of our clients needs today and in the future.
We have also invested in and are currently running trials on a new fully featured links management programme which will allow clients who subscribe to the service to not only seek out premium link partners but also analyse links strategies of competitors or rivals. We will report more once we have finished our trials in about a week.
We are also continuing our integration of Ajax technology into new sites to provide effects such as fading and animation and as an alternative to Flash. Both technologies have a place, both have their good and bad points which I intend to detail in a future blog. Meanwhile we will continue to make use of any and all relevant technologies to provide our clients with cutting edge, good looking and usable sites.
