So, you have your site, your ready to go but how will prospective clients find you?

Well basically there are three ways, from an escort directory such as Punterlink, a search engine such as Google or from a (banner) link to your site on someone elses. Ok let’s deal with these one at a time.

Escort Directories

There are many such sites on the internet, a lot come and go, and a lot produce little or no relevant traffic to your site. It is also important when looking at these to consider some key points

Who benefits the most, them by having your details on the site, or you, often it is them, content for these sites is king, your only interest is obtaining qualit traffic from these sites.

Who already advertises in your area with them, if no-one or few it is unlikely to be of much use. Contact one of their (well known) advertisers for feedback.

Look at the listings, if the site is rarely updated it may be stagnant and impossible to remove details in the future.

Search Engines

Important but very difficult to sustain a high listing in with any search term that matters. Basically sites rank on relevant content and related links, however it is not as simple as that.

Sites such as the big internet directories will often have many hundreds of pages using all the keywords you would wish to use, an analogy would be these diectories have the buying power in search engine terms of Tesco’s, small sites do not.

While we do optimise for and submit to search engines, we would recommend instead concentrating on raising visibility on the directories already at the top rather than to try and compete. This can be done by forum posting, gallery submissions and featured listings, as always we are happy to help and advise.

Link Exchanges

Exchanging banners and links with other sites with similar content is another popular method.
